Next time I promise you can drive cuatropuntocero with shaved RA1s or Hoosiers and the car ("I promise") will feel a lot more grippy and a lot less loose. If okay, please PM me your email. Juan P
PM sent.
I am at Watkins Glen now, so will look at data in the evenings...

Your 2:21 is faster than your 2:16. 2:21 was done on a 3 secs slower track with unshaved RA1. 2:16.799 was done on brand new michelin sprint slicks on a 3 secs faster track.

Your recent 2:21 would be a 2:15 on the slicks in winter weather, and a new DE Cup track record, in the meantime the record belongs to Fix-It-Again-Tony.

yeah but my 216 was in traffic as my top speed through bishops was 8 mph slower in comparison to other laps. Also I had to slow down through 5 and 15 in comparison. I think 215s and 214s were doable with a clean lap and without original stock break pads who knows. a flame was coming out of my rigjt rear breaks at the end of the session.

On slicks you better do a 2:14.

On Winter weather he could have posted a 2:18 on RA1, a full second faster than the heavily modified Trakcar 3.8RS, with a lightly modified 4.0RS. A fast lap for RA1.

In Winter weather, with a modified 4.0RS, yes a high 2:14 is feasible on the soft Michelin Cup slicks (they are sprint tires). A faster driver than JP would be needed too.

I drove 4.0.
I can't see me driving a 4.0 in the winter above 2:16 unless it has a flat, unshaved RA1's or a horrible setup.
