Default Sport Chrono???

Is the Sport Chrono an important option to have in a GT2RS or does it even matter?

If you like a big wart on the dash it is important. Otherwise, it is meaningless.

Prior GT2RS owner.

I have one in my GT3...Lord, what was Porsche thinking with this massive stopwatch? Anyone who can actually manipulate the lever to start/stop the timer with the car moving [let alone swiftly] is extremely talented and probably slow as hell.

You will crash if you try and time yourself with it on the track.

Doesn't matter. Not a deal breaker either way unless the seller wants a premium for the chrono (can't think if why though).

This is an option best served to cars driven in Europe and is a popular option here. Mine already came with one and I didn't like it or use it for DE's in the US until the Nordschleife became my home track. I don't find toggling to reset coming down a 1.4 mile front straight on a 14+ mile track to be a problem. I agree that using it on the short tracks of N. America would be too dangerous. If you plan to order your car from the factory that is one thing, $ave your money, but if the right car comes along I wouldn't turn my nose up at it either.

Overboost on turbos, more aggressive engine mapping on carreras, sweet fK all other than weight with the GT cars...

Doesn't it give you some interior settings like lighting and stuff?

I think I read that somewhere..
