Default Crash & Burn

Sad to say I hit a wall today.

Tail went out, caught traction and then headed for the wall. Hit the front right side and then hit the rear right side. Looks like I'll have to change front/rear bumper, toe links, control arm?, front and rear lights.

This is when I was at the level of having fun, thought that crashing would never happen to me and then wham - wake up call. Humbling experience.

Sadly it had to happen when I wanted to hot dog. If
I was on my normal 'track' mode, this wouldn't have happened.

Oh well.

Learn by experience.

Expensive tuition.

At least no one got hurt.

It happens. Fix it and go back out on track again. When I'm always on track I know I'm taking a risk- nature of the beast. if it happens I just deal with it but I gotta tell u I get more pissed off that someone dings my car in a parking lot just out malice. I tell u on track if car still trackable I'm still running it. Mike

yeah you could say today was not a good day.

but look at it half full bro!

the car is definitely fixable;

its a perfect excuse to put in some tasty upgrades;

you learned an invaluable-- if expensive-- lesson (ask me how i know);

above all, you walked away w/o a scratch, and no one else was involved.

sickening feeling in your stomach i know, but in a few months, you'll be laughing about this.

chin up!

Yeah, I agree. It really pisses me off when someone just goes out of there way to hit the car! Now you can put stuff on the car that you didn't want to before the crash!

Very sorry to hear that. What is your normal track mode and what did you change? Glad you are ok. Fix the car and get back out there.

Yup Jimmy. Law of probability. After years of driving I kinda feared I knew I'd wipe out one day. I'm glad it happened in the track and no one got hurt.

I am now going to put the full monty on the car as the parts for my 4.1L kit is arriving soon plus the other body parts like the cup wing.

It'll be like the phoenix rising from the ashes ha ha ha.

Cheers!

Silver boy, I am so sorry to read this.
You man up to it, so you learn from it!

Others blame it on everything but driving and they pay without learning.

We all have or all will. Part of our hobby.
We hope to get away with repairable damage and most of all no injury. See this as a lesson, you always wish it was a cheaper lesson when you find the wall. I understand hot *******. My only spin was when my ego wanted to hold onto a corner that I knew was lost and I went off at 100 mph...

I agree with 996flat6! I would be more pissed if someone dinged my door then hitting a wall having fun!!
