This challenge was suppose to be a fun event for all but dishing out best laptimes so and so I guarantee u both parties will try to get 2 secs off their best laptime-not worth the risk. Everytime should appreciate what cars they have- don't mess it up for who's the next Viagra sponsor. I'm flying out for the after party- who gives a rat's *** who wins- relax.

Our local group compares lap times like this all the time, we talk a lot os sh$t on the forum but are very safe. Then we goto the bar, get Rad drunk and he spills the beans about all the cheats to the Fiat......then forgets he told us the next day

Some of the armchair coaches are taking it out of context

By best at RR is 1:18.5.......if I best that the day Rad is there I will be surprised. Two seconds off that time is faster than an ALMS driver in a 4.0

Dave no offense to you. If you want to fly from Texas to Georgia to watch Rad and I circle Roebling I'll tell you the date.

The track is a happy place for me, the last thing I want is a bunch of people I dont know and might not enjoy being around annoying me for an entire weekend.

Truth.

And it's fun for some of the armchair coaches to bust your ***** on general principle. Because it bugs you.

Help me find them, I want to run on them. If you find me 2 sets, in exchange I'm going to start pressing Toyo U.S. and Toyo North America to give us back the RA1. This will probably come with a business bribe deal, that means, Pre-Pay for a large order, if you guys can find me a storage in South Florida, I can buy the entire test Production, and run a small side business to sell it at a discount, pass the books to Toyo so they know there is a business for these tires, then let them continue the supply for at least 5 years.

I haven't been to Roebling, but if there is one racetrack that excites me following Sebring, and not that far off, that's the one. It is a technical track, no point and shoot, but momentum driving, like Mid-Ohio (which I haven't been to either, and where I'm looking to get 2 full days of Pro coaching this Summer).

Toyo still sells the 275/35R18.....and I'd be willing to trade a set or two of my 335's for some 305's now.....or if Toyo is selling the 305's again by the time you need the 335's, I'll sell them to you.

I just can't be left without tires.

Very different tracks. Mid-Ohio, which is one of my favorites, also has some notable elevation & camber changes, which significantly add to the mix. I love the place, although my first couple of times there it was a bit intimidating, since it forces huge entry speeds in some totally blind corners to be fast. To me, Mid Ohio is like a short Sebring with hills. Roebling is a hoot, and is a much tougher track than it looks, but not the same.

JMHO...YMMV
