Well u have the data and lots of knowledge.

I just remember how hard it was to get to a 15 in my first 6 cup. And with 6 more years experience I don't see how I could do that even today in my RS. Of course according to my 12 year old I am getting old and slow.

LMAO, I am not saying it would be easy. Lots of things would have to come together, not the least of which would be the driver really getting it together + zero traffic (or maybe even a draft down the back straight) + cool weather + sunshine + a well rubbered in track like we had at WinterFest + brand new zero cycle shaved RA1's + zero ambient wind ++++ etc.

Only way for you guys to settle this is to race...join PCA Club racing, PBOC NASA or whatever and get after it. Pole postion car, time trials...meh who cares, race craft skills, setting up the car in front for a pass is where the ***** are at.

But what do I know with my measly GTS and 2:28-29's.

NASA Time Trials, that's the place. Perfectly safe driving conditions now that Time Trial drivers have their own run group in the Florida region.

I would love to try your car sometime. I have never driven a GTS. This past weekend I was offered the opportunity to race a GTS in Grand Am for the full season with one of the top pro Porsche racers in the US as a co driver. Trying desperately to find sponsorship now!!

Ive looked at racing PCA in Giesha

L class

I could even run RA1.....but the class is empty for a 2010 GT3RS

Thought of buying Fritz car and running J class.....but the J class times at Sebring were yawn......slow

Once I race I cant run super solo, and in super solo I can chase my idiot friends who are running quicker times than most J or L cars

Remember I grew up racing and left it, racing is FULL of cheaters.....and alowr quality drivers than DE cup for the most part

Cars are grouped by Lap Times. You rarely get to pass a car. Think 20 cars on track at most.

Win class, get free tires from Toyo/Hoosiers. A weekend is considered two races, so double pay-out from sponsors.

I have run with NASA-Florida, and I like the group a lot.

Derik in his 997.1 Carrera S can easily put a nice group of Aero Beetles to shame.

Let me guess

He puts A6 on his car

runs 3 laps

tires overheat and he parks

Yawn

Anytime Dave just hit me up the next time we are in the same place. I'm hoping someone in Grand Am races a GTS! That would be exciting for me to see plus I follow Grand Am closely.
