Ohlins would be my #1 choice
- I have personal experience on a previous track car that was also street driven
- race proven the world over

Oh yes, and not to go into specifics (not my place) but Champion Motorsport has worked with Ohlin for a proprietary design precise for the GT3/RS. Call Champion Motorsport and speak to Louis Milone.

My Bilstein Cargraphic DA keep leaking, adjuster seizing they are just not upto street track use, they worked great when fresh but the street driving killed them!! There for sale cheap as long as you don't use them on crapy city streets you should be okay.

When talking with a large "all brands" shock rebuilding and sales shop they said the Ohlins Road Track kit is the best shock on the market today. When i was traveling with the IMSA Gt3 challenge series I saw Ohlins used allot on all types of race cars...ALMS, WC, Cooper lites...

Ohlins has a specific kit "997 Gt3RS Road & Track" line, front is a thru rod shock TTX 46, rear TTX 36, I think they are in the pictures above. They come DA and you can at anytime go to 3 or 4 way.

They are 3 way , the Hockenheim version has stiffer springs and more rebound..

here is the product info link for the Ohlins

http://www.roadandtrackbyohlins.com/...he_gt3rs_1.pdf

Pretty simple 2 **** adjustment - easily accessible

As you said, you are going to be on a wide variety of tracks, therefore pick reasonable spring rates to go with your choice of rubber - since you mentioned MPSC OE tires, then something in the 600-1000 pound springs. Spend a day at an average track to get a base setup and then just add or subtract a click or 2 at different tracks to deal with desired rotation and track surface conditions.

Mike PM if you'd like and I will put you in contact with whom I know about the Ohlins. They've been working with Ohlin for over a year in application development for our cars.

Guys, your advices are all very helpful. I'll check all. But I heard Ohlins TTX has pretty smal stroke which is not good at the slow 2 tracks where we need to cut kerbs at low speed. We'll see. I thought many 997 drivers run Moton/JRZ but I can't see any in this topic. I was wrong?

i think because kw isn't very well represented in the states.
moton and jrz have always had good american support.
speak to michael at kw. he is very knowledgeable.
don't know his email, but he is the one there to talk to.

I agree, KW has probably one of the best if not the best product out there. A lot of development with Porsche and Manthey
