I have been quite lucky to lurk around quite nice cars and I do like what porsche did for 993 and so on... It is not a rocket like supercharged 7 series bmw or brabus but feel of steering and overall responsiveness of porsche is amazing. Then you get a ride in a cup car and you are hooked. May be formula mazda or f1 cars are better but who cares. I will never be able to buy real F1 racer but porsche cup car is within reach and it makes it as sweet as a carrot for a hungry donkey.

seems to me, that which impresses you does not impress me, nor many others here
to be ultra clear, your measure of a great car appears to be focused on a single aspect
Acceleration

for many, there is a lot more to it than that.
then again, I am pretty sure you know that and and are simply choosing to stir the pot.

hope you find some sort of satisfaction in life... Good luck!

when i see posts like this from posters "keeping it real" i cant but think of this recent accident....

only a small fraction of the world can afford to buy a super car, and even less have the ability to drive them. Responsibly anyway....

Yeah, usually I like to give the benefit of the doubt as well, but its becoming pretty clear that this was not based on any substance. Weird original post, weird responses, emphasis on how "slow" the car is, but how comfortable the seats and suspension were... sound was bad (really?), etc.

The user responses have been hilarious. So its been worth following the thread.

But yeah total troll thread

Well I have to somehow agree with John930 with the comment the the 997.1 GT3 is a bit underpowered for the chassis. Maybe that car was also a bit slower than others but my impression was the same when i drove one on an open road.
Of course I am biased as i have a turbo with 700+ hp with pretty much 100% of the suspension changed to GT3RS/ CUP components which makes it feel much closer to 2 or 3RS. I am sure the 4.0 will be much matched to the chassis' ability than the 996 or 997.1 GT3.
You guys are being very harsh on your comments as different people prioritise different things on cars. GT3 indeed ranks very high on responsiveness, road feel, grip and overall driver/ handling interaction (the one i test drove had intraxx, cup arms, europipe etc) but for someone that values torque/ power as well, a 3 does not exactly light up the tires, especially if you ve experienced the same chassis with x2 the torque.

try the formula abarth, thats my track car.
its 70k euros and better than the normal formula renaults and i would think better and cheaper than any new cup car.
