drove a GT3 for the first time.... got let down....with so much expectation going...

Well I have to somehow agree with John930 with the comment the the 997.1 GT3 is a bit underpowered for the chassis. Maybe that car was also a bit slower than others but my impression was the same when i drove one on an open road.
Of course I am biased as i have a turbo with 700+ hp with pretty much 100% of the suspension changed to GT3RS/ CUP components which makes it feel much closer to 2 or 3RS. I am sure the 4.0 will be much matched to the chassis' ability than the 996 or 997.1 GT3.
You guys are being very harsh on your comments as different people prioritise different things on cars. GT3 indeed ranks very high on responsiveness, road feel, grip and overall driver/ handling interaction (the one i test drove had intraxx, cup arms, europipe etc) but for someone that values torque/ power as well, a 3 does not exactly light up the tires, especially if you ve experienced the same chassis with x2 the torque.

What is funny is that someone who drives 600-700 hp cars jumps into a 400ish hp car and is then surprised that its slower. Again, I point out that you can have a drag race with a CUP CAR and those kinds of cars would leave it in the dust in a straight line. To make the comparison slightly more ridiculous, a Bugatti Veyron will outrun a Formula 1 car in a straight line. And it has better seats, airconditioning and windshield wipers. Its also a lot cheaper.
A lot of people on this forum have gone from gt2s to gt3s or the other way around. Typically, the feedback is that the 3 is more fun, more responsive while the 2 is a beast and is a lot faster. But someone who goes from a 600 hp car to a 400 hp car and is surprised that its slower is either a bit... well, I don't want to say, or is trolling.
A lot of people here have gotten the track exhaust and ECU to improve power. Others have gone the full monty and contacted the guys at Sharkwerks or Manthey and gotten a proper 3.9 500hp motor in there. So Jones930 is not the only one who wants more power.
But, "ITS SO SLOW, I MEAN, I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED, ITS SZIT, F!UK THIS CAR OMG ITS SO SLOW" for someone who has a garage like that, and, apparently an open wheel formula car... thats trolling.

Simple, all these years gt3 people make it sound like it can fly, then it didn't.
So imagine the shock I had when it didn't take off. Don't know why everyones calling me names too, I don't do that.
