My black '11 4.0 RS and Green '07 3.6 RS will be my collector cars. The white/red '10 3.8 RS and older Yellow 3.4 996 GT3 are my drivers. Anyone disagree?

I agree. 20-25 years of depreciation ahead, so enjoy them (if that means staring at them in your garage, to each his own).

A case can be made for the RS 4.0, but I see the Carrera GT as the only modern "collector" Porsche. I'd keep the 4.0, sell the rest, and get a CGT.

Yep RoW (not US) had it. Looked like an early 996 with an aero kit but with a fantastic engine

As far as I know, the Mk1 GT3 has a 3.6, not a 3.4, and that was the ROW GT3 that never was officially imported to the U. S.
