Default Gonna try a Cup Car tomorrow

I am trying out a 2007 Cup Car tomorrow at track day.

Taking the RS also so will be interesting to see and feel the differences.

Let us know how many times u stall : ). Earplugs mandatory. Build up muscle mass on legs due to no power boosted brakes. And if u do flatspot a tire are u responsible : )?mike

You think an RS flywheel is loud? Just wait. The sequential makes more racket than the engine.

To see the differences ? If you have enough seat time to get used to the tranny, you won't see much similarities

Just sold my 997.1 for a 996 Cup, first drive this past weekend (write up over in Cup forum). Good Lord what a car! I can never go back to a street car for track duty now, your gonna be amazed.

The cup car makes the rs feel like an 86' caprice classic.

The tranny is the finicky thing.

Tranny won't bother me it's the lack of power assisted brakes and abs that scares me. If u can heel and toe well seq u get use to but brakes an important safety feature. Mike
