Well according to the lady at Watkins Glen you and Peter are athletic......yes that is correct TRAKCAR and Jenk12M were put in teh same catagory for how "in shape" they were
That's cause you kept feeding her wine and vodka and Redbull.
She was also the one explaining how to take the SS-es flatout, while telling us her instructor grabbed the wheel a few times :-). She was a good gofer though...

One lap in the wife's car on Michelin SuperSports keeps popping in my brain.......

waiting for our run test at 5:15 so the coaches can see who was working out and who was driving their RS at the track all off season
Changing the CL's; Is that not working out just as hard?

I'm getting caught up on work. Looked at the One lap website a bit. Could be Mancation III.
http://www.onelapofamerica.com
I wonder how many 6 Gal Jerry cans we can fit in the trunk of my wife's car, the extended warranty does not expire till August ;-)

What class would a '05 MBCL fit in? It is a luxury coupe, not a luxury sedan..In the Luxury sedan class we could have fun, but in Sports/GT it be pointless, plus it seems we have to go to racing school?

Class Structure
1. Sports/GT cars over $50,000 - Engine displacement 3.5L and over
2. Sports/GT cars over $50,000 - Engine displacement under 3.5L
3. Sports/GT cars under $50,000 - Engine displacement 3.5L and over
4. Sports/GT cars under $50,000 - Engine displacement under 3.5L
5. Mid-priced sedans and wagons $20,000-$50,000
6. Economy cars under $25,000
7. Luxury sedans and wagons over $50,000
8. Sport Utility vehicles and pickups all price ranges
9. Classic American: All domestically produced vehicles built prior to 1988, including street rods, pecials, etc.
10. Classic Imported: All types built prior to 1988
11. Alternate Fuel class-including hybrids, electric, diesels, etc.
12. Retro: Vehicles intended to reflect past trends or models, Minis, etc.

Note: Classification based on categories defined by Motor Trend Magazine. The editors will be the final authority in any disputes. These dollar amounts are reflective of 2010 dollars and should be adjusted for inflation for older vehicles, and used only as a guideline. Our main criteria is manufacturer intent, not the actual dollar value, as to what segment of the market in which the car designed to be sold.

Driver/Crew Eligibility
All participants must be 18 years of age or older and carry a valid driver's license for use on all highways in the continental United States. A minimum of two drivers per car is required. A maximum of four is permitted. All racetrack competitors must submit an outline of his or her driving background. Racing experience or special driving schools (NASA, Bob Bondurant, Skip Barber, Jim Russell, BMW CCA etc.) is required for all on-track competitors. The vehicle, not the crew, is the official entry. Crew members may be subtracted from a vehicle (provided a minimum of two remain on board at all times) but not added. Multi-car teams will not be allowed to swap crews in the event of a retirement, or for any other reason, i.e., the crew that starts the event will stay with the vehicle for the duration.

I would have loved to see that. Reminds me of talking to the Lamborghini owner down the street when he tells how good a driver he is.

When I first hit the Glen back in 2004, I was FLATOUT through the esses with a dashboard top speed of 153 mph with my instructor on board, and 156 mph the day after when I got signed off. I was a PCA Yellow group student.

Reter's car with an extra 70Hp and less weight couldn't touch that in Mancation II, so it is obvious he could use lessons even from a Green group student.

Yes !!!

Mancation III --> 2012 One Lap of America <-- Hangover III

We get four drivers and 4 helmets in our Sedans and keep switching designated drivers by the day, so the other 3 can pass out the hangover.

Racing is dangerous, cars bouncing on each other, whether Pro or Amateur.

I'm sticking to the DE Traqmate Weekend World Series.
