Question re: rear wing.....

-- on the gt3rs....does the rear wing make any crazy droning noise while driving along your favorite back road, or out on the highways....just trying to prepare myself, if/when i do ever make this move to buying one, i don't want wifey putting my ********* back in her pocketbook, or worse...doing this: to them

No noise.

And once you fit a louder exhaust you won't even hear the wife nagging at all. Because she will find something she doesn't like for sure.

Get the car.

Don't ask us if orders are doable or not. Call a dealer or two.

I would recommend against using a GT3RS as a wife transport. Unless your wife is in the same run group as you in DE you will not find much understanding. Provide her with a suitable vehicle.

Most (not all) non car nut women are not going to enjoy the RS. Loud, hard to get in and out of etc. And if her a$$ is wide she can forget the seat. The spoiler is about all you see in the rear view mirror.

I gave up trying to justify brake squeal to chicks... When they tell me I need to get my brakes fixed I usually reply "yeah, i know..."

FORGET about the "clack, clack, clack" from the LSD!

Agree with all of the above. No noise from the rear wing. No rearview mirror visibility either. Cops can sneak up on you! Doubtful any wifey would like the RS on a regular basis. Now if she is in your run group, well then you have other things to worry about

-- thanks for the comments...i can feel how you guys love your cars - who ever said "contact the dealer" is right as well....i'm just being squimish....resisting temptation.....and "writing the check"

-- wifey already has daily driver and we already have our fun car (s-2000).....i've just been debating turning things up a notch...but since it would be a street only car i fear she'll miss the "top-up...top down" simplicity and fun of the s-2000, just so i can get thrills at the wheel of the gt3

Apples and hand gernades. The real spoiler costs about the same as an S2000.
