Default 100 CARS PULLED OVER IN NYS TODAY

I was on the T-way this morning about 11am and saw dozens of Exotics FLYING Northbound. Just saw on the local news that over 100 cars were pulled over in Sullivan County NY for speeding and other violations, over 30 tickets written. Dozens of other motorists called police to complain.

THERE IS A TIME AND A PLACE FOR DRIVING LIKE THAT, AND ITS DEFINATELY NOT ON SUNDAY ON THE CROWDED ROADS!!!!!

You're absolutely right ............ 6am is acceptable on a Sunday morning but certainly not 11am .......... too many minivans on the way to church or children's sports obligations at 11am!

New York Through way, or pay through the nose for what you already paid for in fuel tax.

The Thruway construction was paid by bonds that were paid off with the tolls. You can look up their finances here: http://www.thruway.ny.gov/about/financial/index.html

They do get some government help but it is minuscule relative to their overall budget. And 100% of the tolls get used for the Thruway. This is not what needs to be bitched about when talking about wasteful spending.
