I am in love. Will wait for a second hand example to show up.... this car has to share garage space with the RS.... I have loved the Speedster since the 1989 model 3.2 Carrera, heck since the 356.....
Thankyou Porsche for finally bringing the Speedster back.... BUT it was supposed to be a stripped out low cost alternative.... not an overpriced limited edition....

Apart from the return of the name and the sentimental feelings it brings, I don't really find this car interesting in any other aspect.
Maybe if I had Porache AG shares I would.

+2. This stinks of VW corporate meddling with Porsche's model lineup.
Seriously there have been too many new 911 variants in the past year alone for comfort: the SC, GTS, GT2RS and now this Speedster. That's not counting the truly limited-run Centurion and other "exclusive" variants.
I honestly feel the 911 brand is being diluted like a cup of McDonald's coffee... commonplace and waterlike... I feel cheated after all these years of support for the brand...

Meh...was hoping for more or different. Nice car for someone that wants a convertible 911, nothing of interest if you already have a 911 (variant).
Anyone else find the design of the rear deck area to be tortured and bulbous? Derivative, profit-driven, parts bin engineering.
Talk to me about the LSD getting fixed. And the flexy brake calipers. And the pop-out water fittings on the engine. That will wake me up.
Sorry, going back to sleep...zzzzzzzz
