Warning, things are not what they appear!!!!! The pedal sets are reportedly on sale, but they have dropped the free shipping on orders over $250. Now during the "Sale", with shipping charges added, they are the exact same price!!!!! If you think you are saving money, you may not be! Buyer beware!!!!!!

in my experience wif other pedals, the rubber one actually gave me more slippery feel on wet shoe soles

I e-mailed Rennline to ask about this and durability and got this:

It really comes down to personal preference, the perf set does provide a little bit better grip in the wet, but the rubber grip set provide better grip in the dry. We sell far more rubber grip pedals than perf pedals. Also the rubber grip pedals are plenty durable, we have not had problems with that.
So I guess the rubber grip would be better but make sure you wipe your feet before a wet session.

Just to clear things up, the free shipping on orders over $250 was a promotion for the month of April only as was advertised.
