Somewhere around $1500 (freight and tax inc.) would be a nice windfall to the vendor and decent group-buy to Rennlisters.
Count me in on this. I love the power of the rennlist.

We need a large number of buyers to have a good bargening postion..I have the rep contact info and at the track he implied 15% for 20 buyers...I would be happy with 20% discount and free shipping (they charge $65).but we need to have enough interested members...
Carrera GT: Not sure they will give us 40+% discount but worth trying...
Keep em coming

I don't want to duplicate effort. If someone wants to offer this around the various forums and get up a decent number of people, I'm happy to contact the people I know at the OEM and see what we can do.

Given the nature of the deal, I'd suggest we offer to buy at 30%.

If I look at the video file (AVCHD) the video matches the sound, but as soon as I import and match with the Traqstudio software it all goes wrong!

I will go spend another day with the dealer in Miami, just so I know I gave it all.

So next, what is the simplest data system with video, AIM + Smartycam? Other suggestions?
Peter: Please reread some of the posts from malmasri and Frank Todero. RK sessions (video and data) are recorded on either USB or SD media and then copied onto the hard drive of a PC. The data and the video are synced when they are recorded - no further processing necessary. The base system displays data including MPH, Lateral Accel, Longitude Accel, Vertical Accel, and voltage. Adding an OBD2 interface adds (for example) RPM, Throttle position, Brake position and Steering input (depending on the car). The additional data elements are added to the display without any programming. It really is easy.

trakcar, I have the AIM on my spec racer ford with Smarty Cam. Originally installed the evo4 data logger. Added the smarty cam and it was just a plug in to the Evo4. I was having problems downloading the video and was emailing AIM on a Friday night. After several emails trying things, Jordan sent me his phone number and we talked, eventually having a Floridian and Californian conferencing (7PM west coast, Friday) me trying to figure out why my PC USB port was not working. Solved that problem and everything worked. AIM does a VERY good job on supporting their product.

Thanks, I have so much $$ and time invested in the Traqmate that it finally seems to work now due to a great new dealer in Miami, not any useful help from Traqmate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next event..

If I would start fresh, it would not be with Traqmate.

Count me in.
I am a "former" traqmate owner and woukld rather spend more time analyzing data then trying to figure out how to retrieve it.
