Will Euro cause a price drop?

If anything, I think there are individual cars in the line-up that need a significant price correction (just as was done with the introduction of the 993 after the 964 prices moved too far out of the market.)
The balancing factor from a product perspective is the reduction in unit sales (and production) so any effort to reduce price would have to be measured against expected real returns in a contracting market -- thinning the margins when units sales are declining is not fun (it's not a perceived incentive to the buyer) so it's a more "conventional" measure to retain price as a "value" and offer thicker discounts as the incentive.
Of course, discounting comes back to bite you in the residuals. : )

No. If you check prices, they are still lower here than in Germany. For example, base price on a GT3 in Germany is 120K Euro. With is about $150K USD versus our $112K base price.

Your spot on with the calculations, however, prices have been getting closer because of the Euro taking a beating. Since December 2009 the Euro has gone from 1.54 down to 1.26. That easily offsets the VAT and then some.

Prices did not rise proportionately when the euro soared against the dollar and will not drop because the trend is reversed.
