Default Just another GT3... But finally I have mine!!!

Hey guys,

I know that there have been heaps of deliveries and tonnes of photos but I thought I would share some too...

Finally picked up my car yesterday after a long, long wait... As many of you know, this is my first P car,and whoa.... what a way to start off! Collected the car mid afternoon and just started pounding the kilometers on... Heading back out this morning for a country drive.... Can't wait.

The dealer was kind enough to offer me a placement at a track day in 2 weeks time... Not to go gang-busters, but just to run the car in under some greater loads and bed those brakes in properly. If nothing else, just to let her rip a little and to take in some of that amazing sound. The sound coming from those rear pipes is pretty amazing, even if not at full tilt! Was a little apprehensive at first as I will not have gotten enough of a feel for this car just yet but I think I'll just slap the "L" plates on and go for it.

Spec: White, leather interior, front lift, DEM, sound plus package, front wrap

If you live somewhere where access is less that great, the front lift rox!!!

Some driving to be done now, more pics to follow...

Your first P car will be memorable. With that gorgeous white GT3, you've certainly made it even more significant. I always qualified a GT3 as a "special" Porsche.

Enjoy the car. Feel "special" driving it. Congratulations Mate !

PERFECTION!!!

Couldn't be happier for you! Talk about starting at the top of the pile with the first P car being a GT3! YIKES!!!

In any event, I like the photos, but PLEASE get it to the track and get some bug splatter on that front. It looks sooooo naked with such a clean front like that. Now off with you and go collect some bugs!!!

The first Porsche is always a memorable experience, especially if its a GT3.
Enjoy your track day, you will gain a ton of knowledge about the dynamics of this car.

Is that Hamilton's? Some of it looks exactly the same as (literally) 20 years ago when I was there begging to get a 964 Carrera circa 1990. The sales cycle went something like "here, go drive this one, come back and we'll get the paperwork done for you."

Congratulations. In Australia, any 911 is an accomplishment, but a GT3 is extraordinary. Did you sell a kidney?

Looks awesome in white. After there were so many white 997.1's (that were also great), I havent seen that many white 997.2's. Enjoy and congrats.
