Default 2010 RS Pics. Ferraris and Friends. Thunderhill

Fred, hope you are proud. Thanks for the coaching three weeks ago!

Are there really two wheels off the ground? Or does it just look that way? Hmmm...

Do cones experience fear?

Do coaches on a check-out ride enjoy having a front wheel off the ground? (The answer is Yes!)

How does a RS look and sound when it is pissed off? Fantastic!

Life was good after check-out ride to get a transfer from B to C. The exotics were beautiful but slow and there was not a point-by to be found amongst them. Well, perhaps one.

Video in a separate post. Race-Keeper system is still acting up, I am REALLY aggravated with it now.

PS- I met a lot of very nice folks there. Allesando, the organizer of the Ferrari side of things was a real car enthusiast and came over several times to chat and take pictures of the RS.

You know Porsche has a very special car when the head of the N. CA. Ferrari club is diggin' it!

HOD, Hooked On Driving put on a great event. Very well organized, very safe and all the track time I could physically stand. I am a hurtin' puppy right now

If you have a chance to attend a HOD event I think you will be very satisfied.

Looks like you're having a blast.
And you've at least bounced the front of a berm in one of those pics -- doesn't quite count as "up on three" but the spirit is there!

ps. You'll bend wheels (again) on those berms and you won't improve your lap time ... stick to the black bits ... If you want to get really fancy, practice hitting the berm at the apex with only your inside rear tire ... it will help rotate the car, it's less unsettling than two wheels and you know you're putting the car exactly where you intend it to be within one inch ... something to keep you focused on practicing with purpose. : )

haha, I like that. Hopefully, those GS boys will get what they deserve. If they did indeed commit fraud.

Good stuff! I want to try that. Thanks for the hot tip Adam! Ran 2:07's/2:08's consistantly this time.

I seem to remember a White GT2 being about the fastest thing on the track...lol

Age of the driver was certainly an inspiration to me! A full compliment, hope you don't mind me saying that.

Rod?

You know it is true Mike. The poor garage queens, so sterile and forlorn looking. The car in the wild doing what it was born to do really brings out all the layers of its beauty.

And running braless and fully unprotected!

Mooty threatened in a private IM to leave his incoming RS unprotected and allow it to aquire, in his words, a track "patina". My checkered flag decals have scuff marks from the rubber thrown up from the track and it looks fantastic.

Got to get some pics of it washed but carrying the "war wounds". That would be pretty.

Great pictures Pete and I can't wait to get back out there. Were you able to improve your time or too many slow traffic to go fast? Any videos?

Mike
