'10 RS Track Report

Yes! I know in my mind so many changes to make to my line and vehicle management! Just need to practice! So addictive! haha
I substituted a pic Chris Sanner mocked up. I know he is banned from RL but he is loving the pics and video and he is a real enthusiast and sent me about 5 emails today after seeing this stuff. With his strong personality, he is polarizing to many in his approach, but he loves cars and is a good guy. I have to say again he and Chad over at Olmsted have been great to work with.
In all seriousness, and with due respect to Mr. Boxster, it was an index, not a middle finger (even thought it looked like a middle). And the Boxsters running there were quite fast. The whole Blue group was fast I think. Simply a case of better hardware that I was able to accomplish a pass. Boxster to Boxster he would have probably kicked my ***.

Love that boxster picture. 2:10 on a new RS fresh out of the dealer and new to the track is very fast. It took me several tries before I was able to crack 2:10. It's a challenge to drive a less powerful car like the boxster but they have better balance being mid engine. My friend Donovan and his green Lotus clock 2:10 - 2:07 at TH and I have to be on the top of my game just to keep up. Joe and his white GT3 will do 2:07 - 2:05 with proper thread R888, working LSD and a set of new WEVO engine mount mooty will do 1:47 with one hand tied behind his back lol
Yes, the fun part is to play with your RS to make it that much faster next time

I thought it was a good shot showing the RS from another perspective in action

What kind of over heating issue are you having with your 335i?
Here is a video of my last Laguna outing. Brake issue prevented me from going any faster than 1:44

Nice to see the 2010 out at the track at redline! Good job.
Hey Mike, you were at Laguna on my Birthday....I had a great time cruzing around with everyone. Here is some fun with Craig T, I finally got him to get out there without his student and have some fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdpTlZ0VZNw

I am sure he posted on E90 where he "killed" a RS..lol . And he DID (until day 3..lol). What great group of people we had there. So much fun.

I remember you and Crag passing me before turn 5. I was trying to get out of your way but I lost sight of you. Sorry I slow you down
It was a frustrating day for me since I can't carry that much speed into turns because I don't know if I have brakes or not ... I was glad when the day ended. I had fun chasing you and hope to see you at Laguna soon. My next event at Laguna is likely 5/31 with Trackmaster.
Savyboy, join us at Laguna on 5/31 with Trackmaster if you can. I will bring the vacuume cap so you can pass sound

Well you caught me, you know I added the 997 "in the way" thing just to be smart @!#. But yes, WOW what a great time it was for everyone. Trackmasters is always professional and fun. Get your moneys worth for sure.
Back to the 2010, JEEZ, how I want one, keep the Track reports coming. I love to see folks running the cars where they were meant to run.
Take care of that beautiful 2007 car and lets see each other again soon
