Default PCM Reboots

I've had at least 3 occasions now when the entire PCM system completely shut down and then rebooted itself while driving. I believe that in every instance, the stereo was playing my iPod. The music died and the screen went black. Then a couple of seconds later the screen displayed the Porsche logo for a second and then the map came back up (I believe I was in map display every time as well, but I'm not 100% certain). The music took a while to come back on. At the bottom of the display it says something about acquiring the music or the list or something. After a minute or two the music picks back up where it left off.

This is very disheartening. At first I thought maybe I had a poor/loose iPod connection in the arm rest pocket. But, this last time it happened, I pushed and poked at the arm rest (closed lid) with no issues.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? Were you able to sort it out and fix it?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Did the dealer give any explanation as to why?
