Mobonic - your car looks very nice on the pictures.
If you don't mind, could you show us the details of the door and fender edges, and the insides of the door enclosures - around the lock mechanisms, for example. I am considering doing a wrap in Europe, and would like to show pictures to the local installers of what is a "world class" job.
Many thanks for your help!
Best, wurlie

Looks nice, I was going to do this with my Martini wrap over the Carrara white but its impossible to keep clean. The matt finish on white gets dirty and wont clean so take care with it and i'd be interested to see how you get on with it.

You beat me to it!
I've been looking into doing a matte finish instead of a clear warp for my new white RS.
A fellow renlister even photo shopped it for me.
I'm interested to find out more, I love the look and it would look great with red.
Does it protect the paint as good as the 3M or venture shield, is it as thick?
Since my cxar alreay is white I wonder if the could wrap it clear matte?

i'm curious on how the matte is accomplished. I thought it was just matte ink sprayed on the vinyl and they don't use a clear film layer as that would give a glossy appearance to it.
i have installed paint protection film and wrapped vinyl on most (not the entire car) of an M coupe before. I know i can buy sheets of matte black vehicle wrap. haven't seen white before. i think it also would be hard to keep clean after a few track days.

I will wrap the entire car, except for the rear spolier (And engine lid, if regular clear.) to protect the car. My previous car had hald the trunk lid done and the front of the roof, but it is not enough. For the track you could skip the doors only, but they would be off color.
Hopefully someone can confirm;
I heard that the colored car wrap is thinner, that is why I wanted to go with the thicker clear bra stuff.
I think that the matte can still be polisched and waxed, the matte is inside the film, this would be as easy to clean as clear and cost the same, instead of wrapping the car for color and then wrap it for protection.
I keep changin my mind, but the car comes with red wheels and decal delete, no PCCB. I'd leave the mirrors and wing tips clear wrapped (Not matte), lips and roll bar will be painted white and I'll add the 996RS stripe on the side. If wrapped matte the stripe has to go on top oif the matte wrap I guess.
