Default Need feedback on CGT Euro GT3 RS club sport seats

Can anyone give me feedback on these seats in comparison to the stock US RS seats. The seat hight in the lowest setting on the stock US RS seats is perfect for me, how does the seat hight on the CGT RS seats compare, the same hight, lower or higher?
I am 6'2" 190 lbs and the width of the stock seats is great in every respect, could I expect the same fit on the CGT RS seats or are the wider or narrower and restrictive in the shoulders? Can I customize the cushions for extra lumbar support and firmer or softer padding?

Thanks in advance!

Hi
I am based in the UK and have just taken delivery of a 2010 GT3 with the CGT seats . I am 6 ft and choose these seats because they sit lower in the car than the folding buckets . They are however a bit narrower than the folding buckets especially where the seat belt clip is positioned . i am 83 kg , not sure what that is in pounds

I should have said i also choose the CGT seat because the back was more upright than the folding bucket .

You can adjust the lumber support on the CGT seat via a moveable pad that velcros behind the main back pad

Great, good to hear about the seat hight, thank you for your feedback.
How about the width of the seat where you buckle in, does it feel just right or is it narrow for you?

At least we don't have to worry about stones as a weight measurement anymore.

I would definitely see if you can try them out first, if you can. I have them in my RS and they fit me perfectly (I am 5'10", about 170 lbs). I love 'em; the position is absolutely perfect. I have the seats set at the lower setting, which might be a bit lower than the stock seats (but not by much). They are quite a bit narrower than the stock seats (including at the shoulders), however, and that would be the one concern I have for you.

at 190# the fit is tight but will work
you really should also try the GT2 foldable bucket seats. the actually have more bolstering and slightly wider.

I would love to try them out first but can't find anybody in my area who has them.

I love tight, it always feels better is my experience, will have to get into it to make sure.

MD,
I think Mooty (John) is correct. The CGT3 seat are narrow.
I am local to you and you are welcome to try them out.

I sat in a 2009 C4S with GT2 seats and I sat about an inch or more higher than in my own car. I loved the feeling of the GT2 seats but they were just too high for me.

I would love to take your offer when I am home again, that would really make my decision a lot easier. I will be home (Bellevue) between the 14th pm and the 18th and would have time at your convenience, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

I find that very interesting. I have Euro 6-GT3 seats in my 996 and I find the sport buckets in my 10' GT3 to be more vertical than the previous GT3 seats. The seat height and thigh bolsters are both higher with the sport buckets than the Euro GT3 seats.

The GT2 seats are definitely a little high, but remember that the GT3 gives about an inch of additional headroom compared to the C4S, thanks to the lack of sunroof.
