Default curb rash :(

Barely had the car 2 weeks and got a 1 1/2 inch spot of curb rash while trying to park my car as far away from the next stall as possible. Very painful. Anyone with experience (yet) with getting a stock titanium finish centerlock wheel repaired and/or refinished?

Ouch, I've had many a wheel rub the curb, they all do eventually. I good wheel guy can easily repair it as good as new for under 200$.

"it also showed that you are willing to let your wife drive it... "

It's funny because it's true (the rims on my wife's 330i are beat to hell...I give her crap about it all the time)

Wait til u get a door ding with chipped paint. That's an eyesore. I had my wheels refinished and balanced since one was bent due to my mechanic left it sitting with a flat tire. As good or better then new. Since that was done and had curb rash on the remaining wheels decided to repair all of them- it ran like 180 per wheel. Mike

Its better that way, in fact with any new car you should immediately curb rash your wheels, there is a lot less anxiety that way.

I hope you're joking...do you also put door dents into each door?

Contact Dave or Alan at Wheel Enhancement (see http://www.wheelenhancement.com) for a quote. They are very friendly, helpful, and super knowledgable.
