Does toe out in the front make our GT3 track right?
Hi Everyone
I got a quick question. Does your GT3/RS track towards the right when you set fornt toe out let's say around 0.5 to 1mm?
My RS track towards the right after having my front toe set at 0.5 mm out. I call TRG and they told me ALL GT3's does that since the front wheels now wants to follow the angle of the road which is mostly towards the right??
Any input is greatly appreciated

LOL, you need a better alignment guy.
all my cars, even my GMC truck run toe out. they shouldn't shake, wander, twitch or pull right.
the ONLY thing you should get is better turn in.

I still don't see how anyone could want better turn in in a GT3.
It goes wherever I point it and I have the sway bar soft in the rear and almost all stiff in the front.
This works well with worn out Hoosier, but bit pushy with new rear Hoosier, than I go one hole softer inthe front....

Well, after setting the front toe in to 0.2 mm my RS pretty much stop tracking toward the right when I drive on a flat road without "road camber" for water run off. Maybe TRG was right that our GT3/RS will tend to follow the road with toe out if it slant one way or the other.

When you go to zero toe or toe out on the street it will turn with a stiff wind. On the track it just turns well, If you are just coming off an alignment where you had factory setting of toe in you are just not used to it yet. If it is diving to the right all the time then you have another issue unrelated to just the toe, My two cents.

^ LOL. he toes out all my cars.
on my m3, you would think the control arms broke with the amount of camber and toe out i got.

Interesting; I run the stock 305 rear width with a 255 front (Toyo R888's) on 18's; I can't even imagine running 235's on the front anymore. I have my rear sway bar at either full stiff (or should I say stiff since it only has 3 total settings) with the front at neutral or one towards stiff depending on the difference in heat cycles between the front and rear tires (usually not the same since I can almost run 1 set of fronts to 2 sets of rears). However, I now have the GMG WC sway bars and started with both at neutral positions and quickly found that I needed to soften the front one notch. Of course alignment specs, tire pressures, and track layouts (among other criteria) also need to be considered to get the full picture.
But overall, the stock GT3 with factory settings is way to pushy for me.
