You guys are checking the time stamps on the hotel pictures, the lack of equipment or bag, etc, etc...
obviously, they needed a gateway car for when they dropped the GT3. The guy in the elevator is the driver. The thief/hacker is working on the car and when he was done, he just called his driver telling him "it's ready, come and pick it up"... so it's not that they stole the car in 80 seconds...
I'm not an expert but I watch CSI, NCIS and law and order...

That will definitely not buff right out ... GT wheels and Carbon Ceramic brakes might be salvageable

As he has it sitting on the $5000 RR rotor. Nice...real nice...
Seems to me the buyer had no idea what he was buying and is now trying to offload his severe error in judgement. I wouldn't touch that car with a ten-foot pole. the heat damage appears to be severe and pervasive. All metal pieces are surely weakened.
Hate to say but a crush and scrap seem to be best solution.

Actually, I think you are right. If you look closely to the right of the damaged wheel, you can see a yellow jackstand.
