Techart now offers a "Noselift" system, which raises the front up as much as 60mm.

The pneumatic system will raise the car considerably faster than a oil-operated lift system system (hydraulic) I'm sure. But no specs have been given.

valve block unit
• PASM dampers on the front axle with additional compressed air connection underneath
• The upper and lower end position of the system is recorded by means of the pressure in the dampers.
• The pneumatic compressor generates pressure of up to 247 PSI (17 bar) if necessary. The pressure
reservoir has a filling volume of approximately 2.0 l and supplies the pressure for system operation after use of the compressor.

The system does not use an "airbag" like the Cargraphic Airlift System and has no accumulator and takes a bit more time to raise the car
Hey MJones, thanx heaps for the added info. Do you know if the front dampers have a seperate chamber where this air is pumped into.. What I'm wondering is if there is any chance of a leak aerating the fluid in the dampers or just failing to lift the car as they wear...

A pricey yet worthwhile option... Hopefully it won't prove to be a maintenance or reliability nightmare...

I assume there's some way to keep the suspension from dropping (beyond the standard travel), such as when going over a sharp rise at speed, but I'd be interested in hearing if anyone knows the details.

The new splitter might be a problem.

On my car I run the Cup lip with holes I have 3.5" clearance and the only time I remove it is when I load it on a trailer, the rest of the time I pretend not to hear and see the scrapes and that works like a charm. And the car washer guy knows not to use shiney stuff anywhere except for on the front lip because it hides the scrapes ;-)

I would have to know the plyability and the replacement of the new splitter to decide if I really need the lift system.

Your car must be lowered a lot more than mine and mine scrapes about 10 times before I get to work.

Mine seems pretty much the same as all the other GT3's around here. With Sebring as bumpy as it is I am worried about being to low. I leave the shocks in soft there.

that looks like 6kg per side (assuming it is not centralized) the pictures suggest it is not. but i could be totally wrong as well.
at least the weight is lower in the body than a sunroof.

At $3K IMHO buy 5 or 6 spoilers for $300/each and either remove on the street or fit the Mk II version (if possible)

in my mind why bother with the system...
YMMV

Why would you make a rude statement like that.

MJones has provided much useful information to this forum. If you do not think his information is useful then do not read it (or comment on it).

I think the "legend in his own mind" was just a quip -- it's a pretty common way of complimenting someone (and I've heard a lot worse compliments ... : )

The pic shows the whole system.
The system is centrally located low in the body, my guess where the AWD driveshaft would be located.
