Default mooty making some moves in the garage

after racing the BSR.....

i think i MAY need a cup car.....

i have not driven my 2nd RS much (that's strange for me).

i need to play good boy by selling one car in order to get another so mrs mooty wont scream too much.

2008 RS
orange
100% stock.
never tracked, yes, weird.
PCCB
xenon
full leather
orange deviating stitching.
5000 miles
1/2 of the car is clear filmed.
car is perfect other than the chip spoiler from usual scraping.

msrp $145k.
asking $135k.

pls dont comment on the thread, but do ask Q's about the car or PM me.

Sorry John, you said not to comment, but I have to because that price is awesome! Someone is going to be very lucky to get a low-mile, PCCB, Xenon and full leather car; the stitching is icing on the cake. Good luck with the sale.

Mooty:
997 or 996 Cup?
Good time to buy a Cup Car, lots for sale. I raced a 996 Cup for a couple of years and had a ball. Thinking it may be a way to do again. May be tough to go to a slower car since I the slowest car I have driven on track is a 2004 GT3. Cup Cars go through tires and break rotors and other than that are pretty inexpesnive until you need an engine rebuild. Keep thinking I do not need t race anymore but keep thinking about it, not good.

I just drove a BSR today for the first time at Willow Springs, I brought the GT3 as well.

I'm extremely disappointed at my GT3. 265/345 MPSC, rear PCCB and front iron rotors, rollbar, harnesses, GT2 Carbon seats, it hits the scales at 3,300 lbs.

The BSR is under 2,500 lbs (over 800 lbs lighter), and just 200Hp. Although it was my first day at this track, my lap times were faster with the BSR.

By the way, the BSR is amazing, I could not believe my pace through turns. These cars are as fast as a stock GT3 RS everywhere but the NASCAR racetracks.

I'm in love with the BSR. I got a very nice one, it's in better shape than my RS.

My RS might be for sale, it doesn't make sense to put $40k on upgrades to make it better than a BSR, sad but true.

The BSR is running on skinny 225/255 R888 with 10HC. On Hoosier, or slicks should be better, with LSD better, with a 3.4 even better, and it's reliable and cheap.

my PCCB is about same as your set up, more or less. about 3400 with full tank and my *** in it.

ah... you might not want to broadcast that. you are below min. wt. or is that just car without you? if that's just the car, then my BSR is about the same.

hum... maybe i need to teach you how to drive a GT3, LOL. although i haven't wheel'd my BSR faster than my RS, i like the overall feel of the race car better. i can't explain, but the whole is more than sum of parts. i just like it. i thought about buying a cayman s and strip it then stuff X51 in there. or cup.... or ....

good thing you and jrg are not anywhere near SF. else i will be broke and divorced.

forget it. by the time you get in the car, the race would have finished.
i am 5'9, 190lbs. i have enough space in the car, but not much. and i sit very close to the wheel. over 6' you dont have much chance, at 6'5".... no way.

Just curious, but what other thing would you do to your RS make it faster? I figure you got yours sorted out pretty well and i would like to know your thoughts....

I also would love to see this cherry BSR of yours thatyou speak of but thats asking a little too much
