Lightbulb RMS fix... good time to swap out the fly/clutch ?

I seen ppl taking advantage of swapping out their stock fly/clutch to an RS ones.

What kind of additional labor hr. did your service dept charge for such?

Car is going in for 1st year service next week.. anything else I should ask or look into while its goes under the knife? TIA!!

Just remember, there's a Porsche letter out to dealerships to not install an RS LWFW in a GT3 and that doing so voids the warranty. I guess there have been several serious failures because the RS flywheel is not compatible with the base GT3. Do it if you want, just wanted to let you know there are issues and if you value your warranty, you might want to reconsider. This info was posted here at RL months ago - you can probably find it with a search.

absolutely, this is critical, and the main suspect to failures.

Oh, and after i had mine installed I had an FMS leak. Something didn't seat properly and they fixed it for free.

the lwfw labor was free but i paid $300 for rs pulley install + software change. either they tweaked idle or got the rs s/w. i don't really know, i didn't bother to check back with the dealer. car runs great though!
