My guys told me that they didn't even have to pull the engine out of the car, they just pulled the transmission forward and it was an easy job (that took 6 business days)
My car is back and seems to be fine, I hope yours comes back leak free as well.
I still can't believe the loaner cars you get, I get stuff like chevy impala, hummer h2, some small jag, mercury grand marquis, ford focus...

Ah ah! I had to wait 4 weeks to get one... But the Cayenne Turbo is a nice touch. I am seriously considering one now! And that is what I kept telling the guys at the service center: "don't you want me to try one and decide I can't live without it?" It is happening...

Gentlemen, the news is very good so far ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I have now driven my 'new' GT3 approx. 400 km without a drop of oil leaking from the engine. Friday was pure bliss: a 380-km road trip up the Emirates with beautiful dunes on each side and a roaring engine behind me.
I was told to take it easy (6000 rpm shifts) for the first 500 to 1,000 km, due to the extensive engine rebuilding works, but to let it rip after that. And I will, as I am going to the track on Friday![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)
I should be able to do another 400 or so km by then with no more leak. Fingers crossed!

ok, so i'm now officially BOTH depressed and disgusted.
my car finally all done last Friday, dealer test drove it Saturday and wanted to observe over the weeknd if the leak is truly cured.
Well, its not. I got a call today saying that they found telltale signs of the leak starting up again.
So it looks like the engine will have to come out again.
For the FOURTH time in less than 8,000 kms.
warranty or not, this is ridiculous. that can't possibly be good for the car, having the engine in and out so frequently.
boo.
