Ok folks, this will be my last post on this topic. BHP has finally contacted me and has gracefully offered me an April allocation. I have to admit that there has been a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication through emails and phone calls. That said, I think BHP have recognized the issue and they are trying very hard to make me a happy customer. Thank you BHP.
With that said, I appreciate everyone's input and again, I apologized for my rant. It is certainly not my intent to cause argument on this board.
So before the thread gets too out of hand, I would like to end this thread in a polite and peaceful manner.
Thank you.

Salesmanship? Takes all kinds. Everyone's trying to feed their brood the best way they know how. You don't like one guy, go somewhere else. Your money spends everywhere. God Bless America.
Remember, these guys have to put up with you day in and day out. That's all I'm saying. You want Saints, go to Mass.

These guys don't have to put up with me, I like my little yellow school bus far too much to do a deal with fluff ***** like BHP Luva. Amen.

No other industry is as highly scrutinized and regulated as the auto industry. Not a fact, but a feeling after years in the biz and the changes we must adhere to in the ever changing laws. Do you know that a mortgage broker can make thousands marking up the buy rate, and there are no laws or caps preventing him from gauging people. He may also get a healthy rebate from a bank for sending him the biz.
Not so for us, we can only mark up rate a moderate amount, and we are treated like criminals. Not to mention exposed at least twice a year during sweeps.
2.Why is profit a four letter word with people when buyin a car? Did you walk into the home you own now, and tell the previous owner that you' d buy it for five hundred over what he bought it for?

Now do car dealers have to disclose how much money the dealer made for selling a higher money factor or interest rate?? My guess is no they don't...
I for one will avoid BHP like the Bubonic Plague there are no deals to be had there just utter arrogance that I experienced first hand visting the dealership to purchase a 997S coupe..

One other thing...what happened to the original poster happens all the time in the car business. When I first bought a M3 back in 01 when dealers here in Los Angeles were getting $10k-25K over MSRP for the cars people were being bumped left and right as the dealers were trying to make as much money as they can..I for one don't blame them for this as this is the free market in which we live and people have fought and died for.
There are 2 sides to every story...I do feel that the rep from BHP definitely screwed the pooch with his post, he could have taken the high road and kept all the profanity (even if others used it) and name calling to himself. I for one feel his post would have gotten alot more understanding. Trouble is once people start shouting...no one hears anything.
I for one feel that if the GM of BHP got ahold of his post he may have to start looking for another job, as the amount of people he alienated could end up costing the dealer a ton of money.

Normank, who said anything about feelings? It's a courtesy from the big bad dealer. His check cleared and we had six months before the car even hit port, and his order was a very sellable car.Anyone in my position would feel comfotable. The issuse didn't start until the credit was ran.The car was sold to someone else within minutes of release to other customers.

I'm sorry you feel that way.You are arguing the exception not the rule.We sell 900 Porsches a year using this method, and have for many years, so I think I'm a little more qualified than you to guage a customers abilityto buy.As for the Mortgage guy, 5 points on a home loan sounds like a rip off to me, so I wouldn't be blowin that horn to loud.Especially since eveyone is watching as you guys raped and pilliaged over the last several years and there are more foreclosures than ever before.Must be why there 22 year old brokers coming in here making 40k per month, cause you guys disclose everything.

AS far as 22 yr. old brokers making 40k per month sounds like jealousy to me that you aren't doing that. I will make sure that CAMP (California Association Mortgage Bankers) gets your post as they see your contempt for probably alot of the buyers who buy at BHP, and what you think of their profession.
There are disreputable people in every business and the mortgage business is no exception..just like the car business. In fact you have shown your face for what you are..one of the disreputable ones.

How can I be jealous of someone who makes less than I do and has to posts pictures of his imaginary girlfriend? Please tell CAMP about my post, as I would hate to repo your autos when the mortgage industry dries up and people like you riding the wave, have to resume your carreer in the food services industry.

Three Wheelin'
In an industry where professional image is everything, I'm confused as to why a handful of representatives for BHP are single-handedly ruining their reputation as an ethical dealership on the largest Porsche forum in the world.
