Not handy. I need to do fluids soon and can grab a photo. IIRC, there wasn't anything easily accessible to wire the plug to so it's kinda janky.

all 997, including 3.6 rs, gt2, turbo, 3.8 rs, 4.0 rs

They may say that but they are wrong. Mezger engine cars do not have the same size drain plugs as Carrera's. Mezger plugs are m20x1.5 on both sump and tank drain, Carrera is m18x1.5.

I can confirm, I ordered M18 x 1.5 based on the web site application guide for 2010 GT3 and it was too small.

Fail safe in case the valve opens. The safey wire ensures the cap can't come off.

Just received by two Stahlbus drains. For those running them did you use the same torque specs as the factory drain plugs? And did for the sump drain did you replace the copper washer it came with, with an aluminum one?
