I can confirm, I ordered M18 x 1.5 based on the web site application guide for 2010 GT3 and it was too small.

Just received by two Stahlbus drains. For those running them did you use the same torque specs as the factory drain plugs? And did for the sump drain did you replace the copper washer it came with, with an aluminum one?

Anyone try Votex https://votex-us.com/SMQDP008? It has 3 Viton seals and made out of stainless steel and could be more robust? I read a few Amazon reviews on Stahlbus where it broke up during install.

that person on amazon who broke their drain plug during install sounds like they shouldn't be working on cars

I spent today prepping the car for laguna and snapped a few pics. I'm not proud of the wiring job on these two...can I blame the $15 Amazon pliers? Everything was tight before I clipped them. When I have more time I will probably drill the sway bar bolt so the sump cap can be wired to it. Similarly, I'm going to find a bolt that fits near the main oil drain so I can better secure the cap and bolt.
One downside to these plugs is how slow the oil drains lol. After opening both tanks to drain I was able to bleed and flush the brakes and there was still oil coming out.

Do you guys see any advantage to warming up the engine before draining oil? Given the design of the Mezger dry sump system, the oil is sitting in a tall tank with narrow bottom and the sump which is angled down toward the drain bolt. Any impurities in the oil would have already settled to the low points and will flush out with the oil. The upside of not warming up the oil is that it has already fully drained to the sump so you can get a full drain without waiting an hour. Thoughts?
