If you jacked the back of the car, oil went to the front and you might not have drained it all. I drain my car flat on the ground, using the flat plastic pan.

i also jacked up the front even higher than the rear. Drained little over 9 litres. Should be ok?

I installed one of these on my oil reservoir (https://www.stahlbus-us.com/stahlbus...acing-cap.html)

Oil changes much cleaner, easier and faster now I do them for fun

So confirmed they're both M20 and not 19 as indicated on the website's chart?

That is right. M20 on both. But it does not fit perfectly on the crankcase with the original alu washer(its too big) Stahlbus drainplug presses the aluminum washer. I think you should use another aluminum washer that has a slightly smaller internal diameter because the stahlbus drain plug has a different design than the porsche drain plug. porsche drain plug has a cone. https://teile.com/en/porsche-parts-s...rew-plug/69366

I am not an expert but you will see when you install

How do you safety wire the racing cap?

Doing the oil change jacking up the car will not drain all the oil and the safe procedure when refilling is to add only 8 qts and let the oil circulate a few minutes before measuring with the electronic sensor. I do my oil changes using a lift and first drain the engine sump (2-3 quarts) then the side holding tank. I refill with 8 quarts and idle the engine and maybe add another qt to reach 1 bar below max. It is bad to overfill any Porsche engine as that defeats the purpose of having a dry sump lubrication system.

I didn't safety wire it, screwed it on finger-tight (it has a rubber seal to keep it snug)

It serves as a dust cap

If you safety wire it correctly it serves a greater purpose than being a dust cap.

How did you safety wire it? What did you use. I assume there is a hole on the cap?

The race cap comes predrilled. I don't know if there's enough material to drill the other cap.

Quick question can one buy just the plug to save money? wouldn't really need two hoses.
