Just to confirm, you got it working with a PIWIS? Durametric?

Was anyone here successful with the Foxwell?
I’m terrible at organizing, plus this whole forum all be aggregated by a generative AI engine soon so we can just ask it questions

Damn. Cleared instrument cluster fault codes, turned off what was recommended here, still airbag light stays on, on the dash. I'm using a Durametric Pro.

Any suggestions? lol

How many attempts? I vaguely remember that I had to try 3 times or so until it actually worked with my Durametric Pro.

At least 3 times I tried to clear the code. Can try again. Would be nice to not have that stupid red light on

Ok so now only the driver and passenger side thorax error codes are showing. I’ve erased fault codes and turned the thorax settings on and off a few times. Is it because I’m using a Durametric pro?

It’s not the Durametric because I was able to do it with mine. I will take a look at mine when I have a moment to see what everything is set to.

Haven't had a moment to check yet, are you sure you turned off the weight sensor? I may have tuned the seatbelt chime off also. Will check when I get a moment hopefully in the next few days.

As far as I’m aware, weight sensor is off. As well as thorax and seatbelt sensors. So weird

I have same settings turned off as well.

You mentioned you had to do this 3 times. Do you mean turning on and off the airbag settings multiple times?

Did you reset the ECU after making the changes? You will need to do that as well.

I think the only reason why I had to do it a few times was that I use a mac running parallels and that could be finicky with the Durametric software.

Reset the ecu? By unplugging the battery?

Thank you for all this, much appreciated

There is an option to reset the ECU under the same drop-down as resetting the service message. That needs to be done. It is recommended to make a backup file first. I, however did not make a backup. Once you reset the ECU, on startup the airbag light will blink 10 times then go out.
