Vehicle is not in CANADA, is in a different country, i have messaged Phill_356 on Instagram, he is not answering yet, if someone can contact him, please do that. I really can help him to get it back, vehicle was insured and registered today, i just searched VIN of his Porsche in Google, that's how I found this chat.
I'm not asking about money.

once you surrender the title to the insurance company it’s no longer your car. You have zero obligation to take it back even if it’s found in perfect condition.

If he don't need his lovely car back then Phil just simple sold the car and after call the police to get one more price from the insurance company.

There is a professional auto theft ring operating in that city and it is sophisticated enough to get the car out of the country very quickly(within three months). The local jurisdiction who took the original report should be made aware of this information so they can update their investigation. While the case is closed to the original owner I’m sure the police investigators are still working thefts in the area by the same group. They will most definitely follow up with the police in the city where the car is currently located. It would be a huge feather in their cap to close down an auto theft ring.

Hello everyone,
Yes car is in DUBAI, I have checked, its in perfect condition. Phil has made a settlement with the insurance company already, so its done. I think that showroom doesn't know that the car is stolen, they pay money for it, and now they are trying to sale it.

How can someone get away with this. Crazy that you can move the car, wash the title, or not, and resell it.

My guess is, the insurance company, if they give a crap about the 250k (estimate of payout) is they'll go after the selling party overseas, as the selling party, whether they know or dont know, are still in possession of stolen property
Also, too, I'm sure this is much more complicated once stolen goods are exported...I'd like to see how this plays out for curiosity's sake....
what's interesting to me, our law pertains to our state, (or federal state in this case I believe ((and I think CA law is same or similar), is how the law changes once the stolen goods are exported...

This thread is frightening! A stolen GT car was found in another country for sale and there seems to be little reaction to it. The OP/Owner reached out to RL for help when the car was first stolen. Now that it has been found it would be nice to know what he has done about it and who he has informed. Without something being done about this I believe it gives a license to all thieves that these cars are not just fair game but also extremely lucrative for them.
