It's common to break into the car in the driveway and look for the garage door opener. Just happened to my neighbor. Truthfully, I sometimes leave my keys in the garage, but my house is behind a gate, so we have a possibly false sense of security.
I am so damn sorry to hear about this. It's so painful it must be unbelievable.

I HAVE CHANGED ALL LOCKS SINCE THEN AND HAVE PAD LOCKED MY GARAGE
I DO HAVE A M1000RR THAT I JUST RECENTLY PICKED UP

If you really want to find your car, you need to immediately do some research and find the best private investigation firm in the Toronto area. You have wasted some time already, but maybe it is not too late.
A good, hustling, networked, PI firm will know exactly where to look and who to ask and find your car. It will cost you probably around $5k-$10k.
Quit wasting your time posting here, and pay someone and they will find it. I cannot emphasize the number of times in the past 15-16 years that I have solved weird stuff with PIs around the US. You just need the right people on your side, but you have to move fast.

unless I go to every house and try to re trace the movement of the car and guess which direction it went .till it hopes on the highway then what ?
at this point I’m kicking myself for just not getting on my bike and give chase instead of talking to the cops on the phone giving them my response .
ugh so frustrating and so many things I wish had went differently . I’m gunna keep looking for someone on the other side and who has ears to the streets . Rewards are up and plenty of people know . I just need more people to know that their is a reward in place and it’s ok to snitch

Nah man that’s your adrenaline talking, I’ve been enough of these situations to know you did the right thing… all getting on your bike would have done is spooked a guy that can’t drive your car well and made you do things you normally shouldn’t.
I hate being stolen from especially my car(one UTV and one car), even got jumped and beat up for my cell phone(twice)… makes me feel so angry/violated. But at the end of the day years later I’m just glad I wasn’t in a position to confront them. I’m older and normally have a gun ‘near’ me and it’s prob not a good thing.
Working with police, going to court for months/years, negotiating settlements, trying to hide from the defense at trial so their friends can’t identify you… it’s all very stressful and eats at you… which re-opens your emotions every time you have to do even the smallest task for it.
Hire a PI, call insurance, do what is reasonable and try and put it out of your mind. You have your sanity and health, don’t let them take that too.

I understand it is your baby and I hope they find it in perfect condition.... but if not, you're in for a big payday from the Insurance company, I'm not sure how it works in Canada, but in the US, if the vehicle is recovered, the CarFax will have a permanent "stolen" report on it.

I bet its sitting in some scums grandmas garage, letting it cool off. Probably within a 20 mile radius.
Any way of GPS Locators on these cars?
I know, on my 70 Camaro protouring, a couple of us were putting / hiding cell phones in the cars in case they got stolen at night (while on tour when they were more vulnerable )
Anyways, came on hoping for good news....hope its found soon....
