The Interior came out looking great. Some remaining items on the inside are figuring out the issue with my carbon center vents and rewrapping the steering wheel.

Went out and did some cherry blossom hunting as it's that time of the year here in Seattle. My wife adores the trees and it's a good excuse to drive my favorite car!

The first track day is coming up on April 8th at Ridge motorsports park. Just purchased an annual track insurance plan from Open track. Starting to book out my season here in the PNW. Looking at 4 days at ORP, 3 days at Area 27, 1 day at PIR, and a bunch at the Ridge.
Looks fantastic! Out of curiosity, any sense for where you're going to send your steering wheel to be rewrapped? Need to do mine as well and exploring options

There's a local shop I was going to look into first here: https://www.nwcraftedinteriors.com/
Both MA Carbon and DBCarbon do custom wheels as well.

NW Crafted did my seat inserts for my 997.1 GT2 a couple of years ago and they are truly sensational (in case you haven't used them yet Elliot). Everything is looking great, and I hope to see you and your awesome GT3 RS in Redmond soon enough.

Official summer kick-off!
First Exotics at Redmond town center is always exciting here in the PNW. I spent all day with the RS between cars and coffee in the morning and go-karting in the afternoon. I really appreciate the ownership journey and why this car has been my dream for over 10 years. Happy to just get to live it.

The day ended with a cracked RS lip. Took 16,000 miles of track, city, and country driving. Not bad!

Your RS is looking so good Elliot! It was great to see you and your awesome Porsche this morning, and definitely fun to get the cars out on such a beautiful day.

not bad at all… I love that this is a plastic wear part. My buddy with an M4GTS constantly has to baby his splitter because it’s 10x the cost… btw talk about value track car, that car is intense.

Cool your a Gonzaga alumn

@gjenk suggested we take the 997s out for a nice drive this weekend. We decided on a loop around Mt Rainer and dinner at a hidden gem of a restaurant(Caynon river grill) The day in total was over 300 miles and 6hrs+ of driving through the gorgeous landscape we have here in the PNW.
Here's the route if others would like to replicate it:

We started the drive at 1:00 pm and had a dinner reservation at 7:30 pm. This gave us plenty of time to enjoy the drive and make pit stops as needed. The roads are particularly fun to drive between Packwood WA and Naches WA. That section crosses the white pass and being in the shadow of Mt Rainer makes for great views. After dinner, we jumped on the 90 E and drove back into the Seattle metro. I like to say 90 on 90 and thus the drive back is much faster. Ended up home at around 11:00pm. It was a long day! In the end, the RS clicked over 33,000 miles. Photos below:

The start of our journey at Southcenter mall

The first viewpoint stop at Observation Site: Mt. Rainier-Goat Rocks. What an amazing view.

The second viewpoint stop at Tieton Dam historical site which is along Rimrock Lake.

Driving shots through the mountain passes:

Finally parked for dinner at Canyon river grill

I'm sharing some of my favorite shots from a recent photo shoot of my GT3RS. I am torn between posting them here or in the GT3 RS photos thread.

Absolute perfection my friend! Sorry I missed you in Redmond yesterday (but saw your car at a distance). Next Saturday is 'German Car Day' but I'm planning to bring my GT2 out for the first time this year to the show.
