Default Extended lug bolts?

I just ordered adaptec spacers 7mm and 15mm for my 997.2 c4s - do i need extended lug bolts or can I just use the lug bolts it comes with which I believe are the same as stock?

You need longer ones.

If you ordered the spacers that included bolts, it should come with the extended length that is needed.

Did you order the set as my Adaptec 7mm and 15mm set came with them. As noted, be sure you do use them. Or else your wheels might come flying off.

Of course.. don't be silly.. unless they sent the wrong ones.. They are packaged separately as there are 2 different length if that wasn't obvious as well. longer bolts for thicker spacer..

might as well ask the next question.. do you have a jack, jack stand and torque wrench?

I'm getting some new rubber soon, about 12,5 on Michelin pilot sports - think I'm going to try the Bridgestone potenza pole position s04 - mounting, balancing etc all under 1k - will have then put on then. Spacers make a difference in your stance? I was going to lower the car but decided against it and figured this would give me some of the look I'm looking for ...

You're in luck.. these areS04's with 7 and 15mm spacers.. dipped wheels not included.

The S04's are excellent for their price point. So many people rave about the Michelin SS but its hard to distinguish on public roads.

Stance wise, wheels spacers helped but the front can be a little wider and rears a little further in.. At this height with PASM, I would go 9-10mm in front and 12mm in the rear.. but since I may go with Eibach pro kits springs, it's fine for now.

The rule of thumb is that any spacer larger than 3mm requires longer bolts.

get the 12/15 combo. 7's in the fronts are too subtle. if you already ordered the 7mm MAKE SURE they are wheel centric. too many stories of 7mm spacers without a hub ring and 99% of the time there will be vibration.

Adaptecs are hub and wheel centric.

Yes, Adaptec is one of only 2 companies I know of that offer a hub-centric 7mm spacer - the other being RUF. Most companies don't add the hubcentric lip to their spacers until they get to 10mm or 15mm wide, but you need them on all spacers for smooth running - there just isn't enough rotor hub lip remaining once you add a spacer to do the job.
