I don't understand all the rage at the OP. I wouldn't have let it get to me but the truck purposely parking up against him, passenger side or not, in the Back 40 with tons of empty spots around was the original a-hole. Of course he was trying to provoke a reaction, you don't park like that unless you are -- best remedy is to not give him that reaction.

Ballsy. They could have slapped you with a no front plate ticket.

You know what. I forgot about that. They were in Starbucks chatting it up. I left before they got back to their car. I doubt they would have but then again you never know what a Leo is thinking.

I have gotten 1 in my Pcar and 2 in my F250 in the last couple years. All of them in SF!!

I was stopped just for the plate in my wife's 750. I was not happy that he pulled me over for just that.

To the guy driving the Beetle who intentionally dings other doors: I can only hope that someday you'll do this to someone who's still in their car. If you can't see the difference between someone parking near your PASSENGER door vs. intentionally damaging someone else's property, a couple of percussive adjustments to your head are worth a try.

OP, I'm curious about the various reactions you were tempted by. What punishment did the truck driver deserve for daring park so close to your 911 that your child was inconvenienced as she climbed in?

The fact that you people have both the time and inclination to get out of the car with your chalk and squat down on the pavement to scribble a note to someone who definitely won't give a sh*t is amazing.
You seem to have invested the most in this post......................

I have a solution that will at least give some satisfaction of the mind even if problem remains.

Picked this parking spot with a chuckle for this thread. Told my wife about the thread and she suggested a pic. Laughed all thru dinner until I saw the Prius pull up!

You need to attach that as a PDF so we can download and put copies in our gloveboxes.
