The car is in good shape. There's a couple gouges in the leather and there was a pretty sizable stain on the passenger seat. I had them get the interior detailed and they were able to get rid of the stain for the most part.
The car is at Texas Stadium Carmax in Irving Texas. I just told them I am passing on it so it'll likely hit their website again soon. If you want to get it, call them before it hits their website. It's not going to last long.

Price is $57,995
That's a steal for .2 Targa 4S with 15k miles.
Hope one of you gets it.
Wow, that's exactly what I want. Not a fan of the color combo but very nice options....sports exhaust too!
On that Targa 4S Autocheck says it was in an accident....Any knowledge of where it was hit?
I actually hunted down the previous owner. He said a lady backed into him at the grocery store parking lot. "Slight damage" = replaced front right headlight and painted bumper.
You get five days to get a full refund if you get a PPI and find something after purchase, but there have been a few cases where the PPI found items and Carmax paid to get it all fixed. Now if you traded something to them at the same time and want the refund....not sure how that works, I don't think get it back.
How does a sweet manual 997.1 Turbo coupe with adaptives and PCCB's end up at carmax?
If the car is ending up at Carnax, take a very close look at it. Dealers I know right now are not letting solid, a lot and all of the country, are not passing up good quality 997s. They need inventory and these cars are hot right now. Turbos may be a little slower due to costs, but if it's clear, not just CarFax clean, they won't let it walk away.
i personally would not touch anything Carnax has with a PPI done by a dealership or someone really up on Porsches. . . . And then there's this Autocheck thing. I know lots that used to use those for a reason and the reason was not very noble.
Meh, plenty of us in here have bought at CarMax and have had no issues. Before you accept the keys you get to do a thorough inspection and if you find anything, they will cut a check for you to fix it. I had them buy me all new manuals with leather case, stone guard, and cupholder. All I had to do was give them a copy of the Suncoast invoice. What they don't do? They don't do a detailed polish and wax and no floormats, no bumper resprays or wheel refinishing. Thats no big deal. Mine had a leak fixed under Maxcare with ignition switch replaced too at the dealer and no questions asked.
