Maybe talk to the owner directly would help. Something is being lost in translation here.
Yep . . . Sorry guys, just trying to help out and kind of stepped right in the middle of that one . . . I also loved the interior and thought it was a very cool car.
I have as well and am instead looking for a 997.2 C2S or C4S, full leather, PDK and adaptive sport seat car. Almost more difficult than GTS'.
Sport seats are hard to find, but relatively easy to buy off of the forums. They pop up fairly often. Just buy the car you want, upgrade the seats temporarily if you feel the need, then sell them when you sell the car (and have reinstalled your stock seats).
You can't upgrade to full leather however, at least not realistically.
Never understood why everyone goes crazy for adaptive sport seats. Regular sport seats I understand--they are phenomenal--but is the fact that you have to manually adjust your seat forward and back instead of pushing a button that big of a deal? Not to mention adaptive sport seats are heavy. Full leather is a must, however.
Thats a very clean car for the money. If that was a coupe I would be calling on it.
It is crazy how much 997 GTS prices have went up in even the past 6 months. Last summer and the year before you could easily get a 997 GTS for $65k with low mileage. Now they are all $70-75k if not more.
Yes, but that may be due to the GTS selling at a premium during the summer. Everyone thinks they can get $75k Now that we are going into the slow season, we may see prices drop a bit shortly.
I didn't see many GTS for $65k, at least on the manual side. There was one that sold for $62-63k here last winter, but it had nearly 50,000 miles and wasn't pristine. It still sold in a week, but that is the only car I saw much under $70k. I was actively looking and nothing popped up.
My friend is not a Porsche expert. He drives a Bugati Veyron with a full Mansory Package, 430 Scud and etc. and his fiancé drives a Huracan Spyder, S AMG and etc.
Your friend is a Porsche mechanic but not a Porsche expert and happens to drive a Veyron? Sounds like a very interesting fella.

No. My friend brokers high end cars in the millions, but also sells lower priced stuff such as used Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens, Bentleys and etc. The Porsche belonged to one of the mechanics for his company. This was explained earlier by someone who texted him last night.
BTW, not just any Veyron, but one with a full Mansory Package. The Mansory package alone costs $1.1 mm Euro. He is selling it for $2.1 mm to make room for incoming Chiron and the Veyron was just serviced and has all of the updates.
This is the best picture on my phone showing the weave of the Mansory package and one with her Huracan Spyder mentioned in the post you quoted.
I am not fan of alcantara nor centerwheel locks...widebody is another story for C2S.
You're overlooking the X51 power kit. Worth about $17K last time I checked and about 20HP. It's also the only 2 wd 997 widebody except for the GT3RS so it's a special car. A friend of mine has offered me $75K for mine with 54K miles on the clock which is $3K less than I paid for it more than 3 years ago. But I'm keeping it. Not because I believe it might become some kind of collector's item but because it's such a great package.

Only reason I care is being 6'5" your legs have absolutely no support and all of the pressure ends up right on your lower back and butt when sitting. Much nicer to have the adjustment. Otherwise I would much prefer the standard sport seats. Easier, less complex etc.

Every chance I get I grab a hot chick (not like The Donald does) and pose in front of a cool car I cant afford then post it on my social networks and watch how many likes I get.
He is from Tennessee. Uhm, is anybody in South Florida from South Florida or the US. In the photo, his fiancé is from Ukraine, he from Turkey and Italy . . . My wife from Russia. I don’t know anyone from US anymore.
THis looks interesting, it's got PCCB and other goodies, but seems a bit rough. The aerokit is not factory unless added later. Mismatched tires too, so that a red flag to me. BUt a good ppi might make you feel better. The PCCB would need a really good inspection and proper weight on the rotors. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-carrera-s-11/
