I just bought a Fidelity Platinum Warranty from Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors. Bought the 6yr/72k mile variant with the $250 deductible. Very straightforward guy to deal with!
Tried Troy Deitrich but was told he can only sell warranties on cars that are under the original factory warranty (CPOs not included if past 4yr/50k miles).
I investigated other warranty companies and found that EasyCare wouldn't cover me, CarCheck wouldn't cover me, United Care Care would and AA Auto Protection would but I didn't trust those.
I've previously owned a VW Jetta TDI and an Audi A8L. VW and Audi's Factory Extended Warranties are administered through Fidelity Warranty Services. While I never had to utilize them, it was pretty simple receiving the refunds. JM&A (who owns Fidelity Warranty Services) also held my GAP insurance that I had to utilize on the Audi. Really easy process and they paid promptly (supposed it helped that I sent 2 copies of everything requested).
Put me at ease when Mike showed me the incredible markup on these...now I see why people are getting $10k plus quotes...thats the suggested retail!
I'm not thrilled about spending are $6k for the warranty but it puts me at ease because while these are wonderful machines, cars do sometimes break. Also think it would help to STOP reading all of the horror stories on here lol.
Oh, I have a 2012 (997.2) Carrera Black Edition with 25.5k miles. Bought it two weeks ago as a CPO. Thought about waiting until CPO is done, but no telling what coverage I'd be eligible for/how much it would be then.

I contact Mike at Mossy Motors as others have said to do in this thread. He does show you his cost and says to add $100 to the cost of the quote. It was WAY cheaper than what I was quoted else where.
08 997tt with 29.5k miles:
Original Quote from local VW Dealer:
6yr/60k Platinum(not sure if 100 or 250 deductible): $7845
Same coverage with Mike:
$6475! - $100 deductible
$5355 - $250 deducible
What a difference!

I have a questions for all of you wonderful people that have a Fidelity Warranty. I received my paperwork in the mail today and I'd like to confirm the Service Contract Period. The contract states Coverage under this service contract expires: (1) based on TERM or MILEAGE (as shown on this Service Contract), whichever comes first; or (2) if when the aggregate total of benefits paid/payable under the Service Contract exceeds the limits set forth in the LIMITS OF LIABILITY section.
I just want to confirm that the MILEAGE refers to the addition of the milage as noted in the service contract and does not refer to the total miles as indicated on the odometer; in other words, a 6 yr/72k miles warranty means coverage extends from 6 years form the date the contact was signed and 72k miles from mileage indicated on date contact was signed. Has anyone had any experience with this?
UPDATE:
The term and mileage is in addition to the date of the contract and odometer reading initially indicated on contract. FWS even quoted me the expiring date and mileage as it reads in their system.

They replace with new OEM parts from the dealer serviced by the dealer, no refurbished parts.

'07 w/24k miles.
Porsche Atlanta Perimeter = $250 deductible, $3.3k for 3 year 36k miles. $8k for 7 year 100k miles. Fidelity Platinum.
Hennessy Porsche North Atlanta = $500 deductible, $4.9k for 3 year 36k. $8.1k for 5 year 60k miles. Easy Care. Salesman suggested Easy Care covers tires whereas Fidelity Platinum does not.
Going to continue to get quotes and seek advise from mechanics I may end up using on what they recommend.

Asked Mike at Mossy for a quote for my '06 Carrera S with 11,000 miles. He just got back to me and said Fidelity wouldn't cover '06 Carrera S. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

You may have a hard time finding someone that will cover a 11 (MY) old car. Try EasyCare (although they wouldn't cover my 2012 it may be worth a shot). I haven't had any other experience with any other warranties.

Fidelity will absolutely cover you, as they base their decision on mileage and not years. I just got one on mine, a '05 C2 with 28k miles, last month. 6 years/60K miles.
