Not sure about increases, but they can send you to court to explain yourself etc.
With a modded car it's best to avoid getting pulled over,if you get the wrong cop they'll pull the rule book out.
Understood. Having a license plate on the front bumper is the law not just in Ontario but in a number of US states as well. Never thought non-compliance was considered a serious enough crime that would land you in court though. Thought it would be more like a speeding ticket with as I said earlier perhaps would be escalated if caught ignoring the law multiple times.
And again, just curious what mods a cop would consider illegal per his "rule book".

Ontario is very different than most US states, it is much closer to Cali in terms of rules. Exhaust would be the big one for me. Eventually I will get the bumper redone and run a removable plate.
