Can I ask how much that cost to do? My hood is really pock marked with tiny chips, i need the same thing done.
Mine was $1,800 for the full front end PPF, so bumper, hood, fenders, and side mirrors. This was with the latest Xpel ultra film and included removing the old factory PPF.
I will say though these costs vary greatly from shop to shop especially in different locations. The shop I used was a high-end place because I didn't think this kind of work is something to risk getting on the cheap.
I recommend you check the nicer shops around you and get say 3 estimates, then pick from there what works best for you.

Frost on car every morning, but it sublimated from solid to gas and never spotted the paint.
