@Hootsama , great HST quote in your sig block. I sure miss that guy's prose (and Tony Bourdain's, as well.)
"So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”
Apologize for the lousy quick photoshop but still prefer no front License Plate
You beat me to it. Nice photo shop btw. I don't see anything lousy about it. Was just going to ask the OP what the penalty is in Ontario for not having a front plate and how strictly it's enforced. Beautiful car but like you, I could do without that front bumper license plate. Luckily, no such requirement in Florida.

The penalty isn't too bad ($110 I think), however it has been enforced strictly recently. If a cop sees you without a plate in a parking lot, often they will wait for you to leave so they can pull you over. Like groovzilla suggested, a good solution is a removable plate adapter.
Driven over 60k miles in two different 911s over the past 3 years with no front plate as required by NJ law and never had an issue. If that's all they get me for I'll gladly fork over the $.

I don’t mind the front plate so much…kinda goes with my sand beige interior. I think the location of the plate makes a difference too. On the .1 cars, the plate sits fully below the top of the bumper whereas on the .2, it sits slightly above the leading edge of the bumper which to me looks awkward. I also personally don’t like the offset look to the ones that screw into the tow hook as it just doesn’t look symmetrical.

Ok thanks. Out of curiosity, does the fine increase for multiple offenders? In other words, what happens to someone who refuses to drill holes in their bumper, ruin the looks of the front of the car and would rather pay the $110 fine every now and then or more if caught time and again?

He did the wheels on his E92 M3 over a year ago and they look as good as new even though the cars gets driven daily through our rainy winter here. I plan on giving it a try as well. Said wait for a sale as the stuff goes on sale regularly. The pics he showed me are a nice glossy finish.

Not sure about increases, but they can send you to court to explain yourself etc.
With a modded car it's best to avoid getting pulled over, if you get the wrong cop they'll pull the rule book out.

I did the calipers on my 991.2 with "Super Wrap" and they came out great. About 6 months of driving and zero issues.

That looks awesome. My paint needs help in come localized areas like side view mirror tops and the last gully on the retractable spoiler where water always pools.
