Default Just brought this home

I took the jump from a 993 C4S to a 997.2 S. Great car.. Meteor Gray with red interior, which is a great color combo when you see it in person. I’ll post pictures later, because they aren’t downloading now.
This has PDK, so I’m training my brain that it is enjoyable to be in a two pedal 911... Sport Plus really unleashes the beast...

I’m a manual transmission guy. Always have been from my first car (1984 GTI) to my previous 911 (2003 996.2). My 2011 Carrera GTS is PDK because I am very picky and couldn’t find a manual that met all the requirements I had. After driving my GTS for 2 years and tracking several 911 GT3’s and a 991 S all with PDK, I’ve finally come to understand that Porsche is right - PDK is superior. It’s so much faster and better on track and during spirited country road driving. No comparison. I recently bought a manual trans classic Porsche for when I get the itch, and am finding that I prefer the PDK. Live and learn!

While on the topic, how do you feel about a tiptronic on the 997.1 vs a 6sp manual on the 997.1? Which one do you prefer?

Small update finally.

Had my TTS done by Jean-Claude @ Detailed Designs Auto Spa. I had the PPF completely redone (full frontal), Paint Correction, Modesta BC 04 Ceramic on the whole car, Modesta BC 06 on the Wheels & Calipers, Full interior Showroom detailed & conditioned, and had all the black trim coated as well.
