Thought I’d share a few more with you this evening. Sure am proud!

Also, a few people replied to my first post in this thread with some compliments and questions. I didn’t realize those posts were made as I think my settings were not setup for me to get a notification that someone had replied to my post. I think I have that fixed now. I should also have a signature with details showing up.

In response to those questions:
- $82k was price I paid approx 4 months ago. Car had about 36k (over 38k now )
........ I’m now feeling pretty good about this price. I’ve recently had higher offers and it’s trending up still it seems.
- Color is Lapis Blue Metallic
- Interior is Terra-cotta

And thank you for the compliments on her! She is a unicorn and I’m happy as hell to call her mine.

Nice car, congrats!

Lapis a great colour, but I'm a little biased Natural brown with mine, but that terracotta is a cool combo!

I’d be lying if I said the I preferred the terra-cotta over that natural brown leather. That’s a beautiful color combo!
The terra-cotta is a bit wild. In person though it’s striking, mostly in a good way. It’s really grown on me. It’s a soft orangey clay in person. And just makes the car all that more unique. How many more of these could there be out there?

I'd be interested in seeing more of the red one. The gold wheels on ruby (?) look like potentially a nice combo I haven't seen before.

Sure! It's a Ruby Red 997.1 with all the LED light swaps. The wheels are 18" Carrera Classics that have been painted gold.

How do you like the LEDs? I’ve seen mixed impressions from other board members. I thought for sure I’d make the upgrade when buying the car but then I just put it on the back burner, especially after not seeing opinions across the board that the mod was a good one. Any chance you have pics showing how they look before and after? And certain brand that is the best in your experience if I decided to do it?

Firstly when i mean LEDS, I mean the the front fogs, side markers, and tail lights have been replaced with DEPO units. I don't mean that LEDs were put into the 997.1 housings (just to make sure that's clear haha)

Second, I own the white car, so I don't know too much about the lights on the red car. Comparing the Depo lights to the 997.2 OEM ones, I would say they operate pretty much identically, except that the rear blinkers on the tailights are amber on the Depo, while the 997.2's rear blinker is the whole red area blinking.
I also recall that from @indigo4us 's mechanic (we have the same one) that it was a pain to align the tail lights correctly and some adjusting (cutting plastic) was required to make them fit to the OEM standard.

I do own the Depo LED side markers and I think they are amazing and look significantly better than the OEM ones. The only issue is that the housing is larger, so it sticks out from the car more.

These are the 997.1 OEM (non-led) lights

DEPO LED replacement tail lights (997.1)

997.2 OEM tail lights

997.1 with LED fog lights upgrade

997.2 with OEM foglights

Hope some of that makes sense!
