Porsche Parking Problems

Check this one out.
Oh yes, of course I parked toward the end of the space to give you more room so you can park like you've downed a bottle of vodka and are wearing boxing gloves.
Wait, where are my smiley face stickers... A++

Not a 997, but this thread amuses me none-the-less.
Had my car out for Easter. Pull into a fairly deserted lot, parked a fair distance from the store and wasn't even 50 paces away from her when I turned to see a truck parking right beside me. I'll give the old boy credit, he was careful opening his door, though maybe because he saw me watching.

Perhaps they are parking next to you knowing that you wouldn't hurt their car?
This was the most secure parking I was able to find on the planet--save inside Cheyenne Mouintain...Villa d-Este

May be a southern thing but another reasonable cause here is an abundance of pickup and older model, large SUV drivers with attitudes. They just don't like high end cars and seem to have a hard time containing themselves when spotting one in traffic . Tailgating is a favorite along with the parking thing. One such idiot got worked up enough where he rear ended me at a stop sign while I was just sitting there waiting for traffic.

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to back this story up but I thought you all my appreciate it. I was in my Audi that I had before, and I was every bit as particular with that car as I am my 997. Made a trip to the doc’s office and parked a ways away in the middle of three vacant spots. I came back out to a beat up mid-80’s RX7 parked on the right side and thought “hm, he’s parked pretty close”. His tires were touching the line so I checked out my car. Only to find a nice big gouge and dent. I did a little parking lot geometry and it lined up perfectly. The gouge even lined up with a sharp deformity along the edge of his door. So there I was, very mad and trying to figure out if there was anything that I could do. I figured if I waited for him, he would just deny it. If I called the police, they would probably tell me to stop wasting their time. So I walked to the back of the car to at least get the tag number. Only to find his set of keys that he left hanging out of the lock to the rear hatch. So I figured that was karma making itself available. His keys came home with me. lol
