I'm debating updating my 997.1 C4S Cab with a more modern front bumper and rear spoiler? Can anyone suggest a modern look without going extreme on the spoiler? Seems like there are too many options to pick from and I'm not sure what will look good together. If any of you have done this and have pictures on the CAB could you please add pics? I'd be very grateful.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I like the Gen 2 look a lot. A $3500 cost. If I ever had to replace my bumper for damage, I'd go this route.
Gen 1 does look dated.
997 turbo look is interesting. Don't know details here.

There was a thread a couple months ago that someone had installed a GT? front bumper, or something similar, and it looked really sharp.
I have a 997.2, but my front bumper has 4 plugs from a real ****ty front plate mount. It's not that obtrusive with the plugs, but it's driving me crazy, especially washing the car.
As to a spoiler, I have a cab, too, and I don't see much working here, as for clearance for the bonnet, it would have to be really short, I would think. I can't get the "look" of a spoiler on a cab reconciled in my mind, yet, either.

I'm very torn! I love the stock look, then I see something that catches my eye! I'm thinking at the least, adding a front carbon fiber lip? Also, thinking about updating the Rears and DRL's to LED's. So many options!!! Thanks for the input....

Porsche Marketing personnel are always working overtime in an effort to make what was at one point the bee's knees, and then making it appear as obsolete as an ice box. When you look at the relatively (now) plain jane appearance of an 05-08 Carrera you can see how it can benefit from the styling update from the last of the 997 cars--the Speedster or the GTS.

I'm with Sonny, I like the .1 look. Nice and simple.
But I do really like the rotec splitter. I think I might get it one day. Maybe try this, you're not changing the look, just making it more aggressive!
